CITIES DECLARE CIVIL EMERGENCY
Riots and looting have affected many cities in the US and locally within Washington State. These cities include Seattle, Spokane, Bellevue, and Renton. Other cities have issued Civil Emergency proclamations to prepare for civil unrest.

NATIONAL GUARD STATE WIDE ACTIVATION
Due to a large number of cities experiencing protests, riots, and or looting the governor has activated the Washington State National Guard statewide. The Cities of Auburn, Renton, and Bellevue declared a Civil Emergency yesterday.
COVID-19 EXPOSURE TO PROTESTERS
Public Health officials are now concerned that large groups of protesters in major cities could have been exposed to or infected other persons with COVID-19. A resurgence in 14-21 days is possible, testing advised for participants.

CASCADIA INCIDENT SUPPORT TEAM (IST)
Cascadia Emergency Management's Watch Center and IST members are closely watching events related to civil unrest and COVID exposure and possible resurgence of cases in the coming weeks. Available for assignment: ISTL, OSC, and PSC.
