INFORMATION COLLECTION & SENDER IDENTIFICATION Cascadia Emergency Management ("Cascadia EM") collects user names, organizational roles, and mobile phone numbers directly from individuals for the explicit purpose of broadcasting time-sensitive public safety announcements, severe weather alerts, out-of-band paging, and critical incident coordination.

ABSOLUTE PROHIBITION ON DATA SHARING (MANDATORY CLAUSE) Mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and individual consent history will not be shared, rented, or sold to any third party, affiliate, or partner for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes under any circumstances. All communication channels are strictly restricted to legitimate emergency management operations.

1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION & SENDER IDENTITY Cascadia Emergency Management Alerts is an SMS system utilized by Cascadia EM to broadcast critical, high-priority public safety notices, life-safety updates, tactical response deployment vectors, and system connectivity tests.

2. EXPLICIT DIGITAL OPT-IN MECHANISMS Consent to receive SMS broadcasts from Cascadia EM is obtained exclusively via two isolated tracks:

• Internal Personnel Profile Registration: Personnel are assigned administrative accounts inside our secure Web Portal at https://www.cascadia-em.com. To activate automated alerts, users must navigate to their profile and manually check an un-checked consent box.

• Temporary Event Registration Portal: Event attendees register via localized landing pages by scanning dedicated public safety QR codes. To activate short-term safety alerts, attendees must input their mobile phone number and manually check a standalone, un-checked checkbox confirming their explicit agreement to receive operational updates.

 

The language bound to all checkboxes states: "By checking this box, you provide express consent to receive time-sensitive public safety notices, weather alerts, and system tests from Cascadia Emergency Management via SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on active incident operations. Text STOP to completely terminate notifications, or HELP for support.
