About the event

Active Shooter Awareness - In today's world shootings are taking place in schools, churches, and businesses around the country. As a society we need to be aware of the potential threats around us and react appropriately when a situation arises. This course is based on RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. combined with Stop the Bleed basic bleeding control course.

Stop the Bleed - Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. The greater the number of people who know how to control bleeding in an injured patient, the greater the chances of surviving that injury.
