Protests continue in Seattle, Olympia, and around the nation. Mayor of Seattle address protesters issues from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with other city officials. Crowds at the EOC estimated at 1,000, 500 elsewhere may join.

COVID EXPOSURE HIGH
Congregated protesters raise the likelihood of COVID exposure. Attendees are asked to "Self Quarantine" to minimize spreading the virus further and asked to seek testing if they experience COVID like symptoms.

COVID CASES EXPECTED TO RISE
Because of the lack of social distancing during civil protests and riots the increase in COVID-19 cases will likely rise in the next 14 to 21 days. Public Health officials preparing for an increased demand for medical services.

Cascadia EM Planning Specialist, Operations Specialist, and Team Leader/EOC Director remain available for assignment. Recently supported EOC operations during COVID first wave managing response readiness and planning.
