Teachers from Moorland Elementary School participated in Cascadia Emergency Management's light Urban Search & Rescue course for Schools. Participants learned techniques in preparation for a major earthquake. The course included Tactical Radio Communications, Incident Command System, and using of the Passport Accountability system used by First Responders, and Search and Rescue techniques to include Cribbing and Disaster Medical management.
