Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's OEM Director, Ada McDaniel has created opportunities for the tribal members to better prepare for the worst case scenario. She has created a model program which includes weekly training opportunities for all tribal members interested in participating.

Since November of 2018 the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has sponsored internal training's for all their departments, tribal members, and support affiliates delivering Active Shooter Survival Awareness & Stop the Bleed training.

Director McDaniel envisions offering more training's in 2019 to include First Aid, CPR and AED, C.E.R.T., and specific training for support members who staff their Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

 

Cascadia Emergency Management, LLC is a contract service supporting various missions to include but not limited to consultation, planning, operational support, and response coordination to the MIT Office of Emergency Management since 2017.
